McCARTHY ACCESS SCAFFOLD TOWER TRAINING (M.A.S.T.T)
The new Work at Height Regulations require that the installation or erection of Mobile Access Towers should only be carried out by, or under the supervision of, a competent person.
Such a person is someone considered to have training, technical knowledge or experience as may be appropriate having regard to the nature of the activity. (M.A.S.T.T) qualifications are proof of competence.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This course will give delegates knowledge of relevant Regulations, Codes of Practice and good safe working practices together with hands-on practical skills to enable them to safely erect, move, alter, use and dismantle or inspect lightweight tower scaffolds. (3T Method).
Who should attend: All operatives who erect, move, alter, use and dismantle or inspect lightweight tower scaffolding, or those who supervise or manage such operations.
Prior Knowledge: An awareness to health and safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.

- Stability.
- Loading of towers.
- Use of stabilisers, outriggers, sole pads and ties.
- Moving & Repositioning mobile access towers.
- Inspection reports and tags.
- Practical Assessment
- Delegate Assessment of Understanding.
Delegates who successfully complete the course will receive a McCarthy & Associates Ltd Certificate of Competence in the safe use of Access Scaffold Towers. Valid for 5 Years and a photographic I.D card.
