Risk Assessments are an important part off any Health & Safety Policy as they help you identify hazards associated with an activity, assess the risks, then put control measures in place to reduce the risk to an acceptable level.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This workplace risk assessment course is designed to give delegates a comprehensive understanding of the principles of risk assessment in accordance with legislative requirements and “Best Practice”.
The course provides a comprehensive look at the concept of Risk Assessment, and focuses on the theory and practical application of the HSE’s 5 Steps to Risk Assessment. The course material and handouts are used with reference to current legislation and “Best Practice” guidance.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
This course will benefit Managers and others who are responsible for conducting risk assessments and implementing identified control measures for all activities in the workplace.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.
