    • BOHS-P404 AIR SAMPLING AND ASBESTOS CLEARANCE TESTING TRAINING

    The new Control of Asbestos Regulations 2006 (CAR 2006) which came into force in November 2006 put even greater stress on training, asbestos awareness training and asbestos management in the UK.

    With property development and expectations on local government and housing associations at an all time high the need for quality and reliable asbestos services from organisations becomes paramount.

    COURSE OBJECTIVE

    This course has been developed to provide full practical and theoretical knowledge in the techniques of air sampling and clearance testing of asbestos.

    The module is at a proficiency level which aims to provide the candidate with the practical knowledge and skills to be able to carry out the stated work

    Who should attend? All personnel with responsibility for carrying out Air sampling & clearance testing of Asbestos.

    Prior knowledge

    An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.
