LONE WORKING COURSES - SAFE WORKING ALONE TRAINING

Lone working is defined as an employee who works alone or alone in the community without close supervision or the benefit of interaction with other staff.

There are certain responsibilities that an employer and employee have for working conditions; this training will help clarify what these roles and responsibilities are, and how to ensure that when lone working, safe working practices are employed and the requisite care is taken.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course is designed to provide information, advice and practical support to anyone who works alone, either in an isolated environment or visiting or meeting people away from a colleague supported environment.

To provide each delegate with the skills to recognize potential problems and be proactive in risk reduction.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

All personnel who work alone either on a regular or ad hoc basis and their managers. This course applies equally to employed, self-employed or voluntary workers.

PRIOR KNOWLEGE

An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.

Start Time: 9.00am
Finish Time: 1.00pm.
Cost per delegate £100 Exc vat
Half day courses include tea/coffee and hard copy notes
Full day courses include tea/coffee, buffet lunch and hard copy notes

Please Note:

We also offer tailored courses at a cost of £495 ½ day and £925 full day Exc vat for up to 20 delegates; these are held in house at your premises or venue of your choice. There is an additional cost for hard copy course notes. Electronic course notes can be supplied free of charge. COURSE CONTENT
