HARNESS APPRECIATION - SAFETY HARNESS TRAINING COURSE

More and more workers are being asked to wear safety harnesses whilst at work. However, few workers are properly trained and thus many are at significant risk through poorly selected or incorrectly used safety harnesses.

Few people understand the risks and selecting the wrong equipment or wearing it incorrectly can be more dangerous than not wearing it at all.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

A classroom based course providing personnel who have basic fall arrest equipment with a thorough understanding of the need for safety at height.

This course covers regulatory requirements, end user inspection, harness fitting and adjusting, intermediate attachments and anchor points.

WHO SHOULD ATTEND

Personnel who, as part of their operational duties, must carry out or supervise any projects when working at height which may involve the use of harnesses.
