WORK AT HEIGHT ON FIXED AND ROTARY WING AIRCRAFT TRAINING
Falling from height is the single biggest killer of workers in the UK across all industry sectors, and consequently resulted in the long awaited introduction of the Work at Height Regulations in April 2005.
Training in correct techniques and equipment saves lives and protects workers.
COURSE OBJECTIVE
This classroom based course has been developed specifically for aviation maintenance engineers. It raises awareness to the likely hazards associated with Work at Height on fixed wing and rotary aircraft.
As well as providing an insight into the Work AT Height Regulations.
WHO SHOULD ATTEND
All personnel who routinely Repair & Maintain Aircraft as part of their day to day duties.
PRIOR KNOWLEDGE
An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.
