    • CONFINED SPACES MANAGEMENT AND AWARENESS COURSE



    A number of people are killed or seriously injured in confined spaces each year in the UK. This happens in a wide range of industries, from those involving complex plant to simple storage vessels.

    Those killed include not only the people working in the confined space but those who try to rescue them without proper training and equipment.

    COURSE OBJECTIVE

    The aim of this course is to provide awareness of a safe working environment within a confined space and to make staff aware of procedure, to ensure a safe access and egress from a confined space and to have emergency procedures in place in the event of an emergency arising whilst operators are working in the confined space.

    Who should attend: The course is designed for companies whose staff may be required to enter areas that are classified as confined spaces and where there may be a risk of serious injury or death.

    PRIOR KNOWLEDGE

    An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.

    Half day courses include tea/coffee and hard copy notes

    Please Note:

    We also offer tailored courses at a cost of £495 ½ day and £925 full day Exc vat for up to 20 delegates; these are held in house at your premises or venue of your choice.

    There is an additional cost for hard copy course notes. Electronic course notes can be supplied free of charge.
