CDM TRAINING - CONSTRUCTION, DESIGN AND MANAGEMENT COURSES

The new CDM regulations represent a step change in construction health and safety legislation.

They bring the CDM 1994 regulations and the Construction (Health, Safety and Welfare) regulations 1996 into a single regulatory package that provides a clear focus on management, communication, co-operation and competence within the project team. Roles and responsibilities have changed and even those familiar with CDM will need to bring themselves up-to-date with the wide-ranging changes to the regulations.

COURSE OBJECTIVE

This course has been developed to provide all parties involved in construction with a thorough understanding of the Construction, Design and Management (CDM) Regulations. Incorporating the changes introduced by the 2007 Regulations.

Delegates will gain a good understanding of general Health & Safety legal requirements and their application to themselves and other parties involved in construction.

This course is appropriate for anyone involved in construction projects or activities (Including Building Maintenance work).

It is equally appropriate to those with no prior knowledge of the Regulations or those looking for a refresher on current best practice.
