    It is estimated that over two-million workplaces contain asbestos, which remains the single biggest cause of work related deaths in the UK.

    This asbestos awareness course enables those responsible for the building, repair and maintenance of commercial properties to identify and deal with asbestos, and meet their legal ‘Duty to Manage’.

    COURSE OBJECTIVE

    This course is designed as an introduction to safe working with Asbestos, providing delegates with a clear understanding of Asbestos, its dangers, where it can be found and actions to be taken.

    WHO SHOULD ATTEND All building / premises owners, managers, tenants, operatives who may encounter Asbestos during the course of there work. Prior knowledge An awareness of Health & Safety issues would be an advantage but not essential.
