Roof Top Safety Awareness Training
The course will promote a good understanding of roof top safety issues enabling delegates to recognise the main roof top hazards and controls that, when implemented correctly, will reduce the risks.
We will review the “Good Old Days” and “Look and learn” from Previous Practices.
Delegates will be provided with an insight into:- The Working at Height Regulations and The Provision of Work Equipment Regulations
Practical considerations when Working at Height are a major feature of this course. These include;

Hot work procedures
Hot work permits and precautions
Tar boilers, lead heaters and similar equipment
Personal protective equipment
Fall protection equipment & systems
Safe Use of Ladders & Steps
Safe Systems of Work & Method Statements
Assessing the Risk
Roof Work Hazards
Equipment Inspections, Tests, Maintenance & Records keeping
