Background

Cofton was founded in 1972 by the Chairman T E Barnsdall as a civil engineering company specialising in infrastructure provision for housing developers, and a variety of other clients in both the Public and private Sectors.

The Land and Property Company was established in 1985 offering a unique mix of land management and civil engineering expertise.

The Company has grown successfully over the years, now employing around 140 people.

Over the last three years the annual turnover has consistently been in excess of £40m.
Services Provided

McCarthy & Associates Health & Safety provided development and delivering of specific training courses, tool box talks and general Health & Safety Awareness to site operatives as well as head office staff.

Site inspections are carried out to verify compliance with Safe systems of work and applicable legislation during ground works operations associated with the installation of the site infrastructure
